Gótico, exótico, nacionalista o primitivo, pero siempre romántico: una imponente retrospectiva dedicada a Alexander McQeen se inaugura este miércoles en el museo Metropolitano de Nueva York. La exposición permanecerá abierta del 3 de mayo al 31 de julio, tras una cena de gala caritativa organizada por el Instituto de la Vestimenta del museo y a la que asistieron el lunes la actriz mexicana Salma Hayek, la diseñadora Stella McCartney y la editora de Vogue Anna Wintour, entre otros famosos. "Con la atención que pone en los detalles y su pasión, fue un verdadero genio", comentó Sarah Burton, directora artística de la casa "Alexander McQueen", que perpetúa la marca y acaba de confeccionar el vestido de la duquesa de Cambridge, esposa del príncipe Guillermo.
